［Festival］Yokote Kamakura（snow huts）- 横手かまくら

［By car］About 7 minutes to Futaba-cho-Kamakura-dori（Futaba-cho Kamakura street）from Yokote Central Hotel.

Point

"Yokote Kamakura"（February 15-16）is one of the five biggest winter festivals in Northern Tohoku area.
There is about 450 years of history, originally New Year event on the lunar calendar.
As many as 100 kamakura are made in the city.
