Historical park in the ancient battlefield of "The Battle of Gosannen（後三年合戦）in 11th century.
The winner Kiyohara（Fujiwara）Hidehira built the foundations of the Hiraizumi culture that famous for UNESCO World Heritage.
There are triple arched bridge in Nishinuma marsh, battle mural printings and bronze statues.

Lots of anecdotes remains ;
- The oldest starvation tactics in Japan
- Minamotono Yoshiie（Genji）found the soldiers hiding by movement of wild goose.
